Our church family recently moved to our permanent campus and it has been wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.

Mike and I have always been fairly neutral about where to hold church. We’ve been part of congregations that have their own buildings and we’ve been part of congregations that have met in hotel ballrooms, private homes, schools and performing arts centers. It’s all good.
But I gotta tell ya…
It’s so nice to have a place where we can do some very cool things for our community.
This year, we had a fall festival and it was a ball. We were able to bring pony rides and a little roller coaster and funnel cakes and on and on. My kids were on a sugar- high-spinning-bouncing-kid-delirious-ness.
This padded battle arena was hilarious…
And this thing? The Spinning Strawberry? Yikes. It made me nauseous just even watching it…
8 of 8 seemed to have a sucker tucked between his teeth and gums all night long. My brother-in-law dentist will be so proud…
This is one of 5 and 6 of 8’s best buddies. She and her family treated us to Telluride…we treated them to, ah, this crawl-thru-a-tube thing…

This quartet are quite the buddies. That gorgeous girl on the left? She just came home from Uganda to her forever family back in the summer. We are crazy, crazy, crazy about her…
Mike was on shoe removal duty as the kids went on the spinning swing ride~~we didn’t want any flying Crocs sailing through the air…
After several hours of all kinds of fun, the moon began to rise and the temps began to drop…
And it was such a delight, such a blessing to see so many people from the community, people we have prayed for and have wanted to bless, show up to our new ‘house’ for this Meet The Neighbors experience.
What a beautiful thing to have a place to call home.
