As this year comes barreling to its finish (seriously, how is Christmas next week? And then the New Year?!? I’ve just finally gotten better at writing ‘2014’ on my checks!), I’d love to encourage you to finish off your Christmas shopping with just one more gift.

Our 2dance2dream program is growing and growing. We kicked it off a few years ago, due the generosity of a donor, hoping we would find a few children with special needs who might enjoy getting to join the dance floor.
A few years later, we have sixty people with special needs in the program across four dance studio campuses.
And we’re expanding to Nashville.
And we’ve got studios in Dallas and Los Angeles who are on our waiting list.
Wowza.
It seems almost surreal, thinking back to when we got started.
2dance2dream is a branch of the 501(c)3 Legacy of Hope Austin. We provide dance instruction and performance at no cost to families with special needs. Our dancers are amazing, and they shine through this program. Legacy of Hope also has 2night2dream, a respite date night out for moms and dads of children with special needs, again provided at no cost to the families. And we have dreams of a new program hopefully coming in the spring…
As you wrap up your shopping, literally and figuratively, would you consider putting one more thing under the tree? We would love to see you share the gift of dance. For only $15, you can purchase a ticket to the upcoming 2dance2dream recital on February 22nd, 2015. Even if you’re out of the area and can’t attend, your ticket purchase allows us to provide more dance instruction and performance for even more kids. You’ll be cheering them on, even if you’re cheering from a few states away. And if you’d like to go a little bigger and help us with expansion and our other programs, there’s a way to do that as well! Your donation is tax deductible.
