He has proven to be my most difficult photography subject.
Ever.
He has a particular aversion to looking directly into the camera lens. And smiling. At the same time.
I don’t know if he decided ‘Dreamy Far-Away Look’ was his best side or what.
But that’s usually what he gives me.
How 8 of 8 could be raised in a household of camera hogs and still give me such a hard time on taking photos is a mystery.
He’s elusive, that one.
But we’re going to keep working on it. Because I do think he is a fine photography specimen. Kind of like Big Foot. Or Nessie.
Or UFOs.
But one of these days, I will achieve the ‘Straight in the Camera Cheesy Smile’ look with him.
But for now, it’s all about ‘Dreamy Far-Away.’
The guy’s got his ethics.
